What is the language of transfeminisms? What words do we use to see, recognize and name ourselves and our struggles, ideas and positions? What happens if we place some of these words under a magnifying glass in order to examine them, investigate their different meanings and uses, their breaking and cohesion points, the tensions they crystallize?

Glosaria dissects the words of transfeminisms today. The project grew out of our need to understand and rethink language, putting it at the center of our struggles in order to recognize our differences and otherness. Our aim has been to build a living, elastic and flexible glossary that can be rethought and intervened again and again, and that allows us to debate and reinvent ourselves.

Glosaria has three ramifications:

  • A podcast series
  • An intervention in public spaces
  • A postcard box

Glosaria is a project produced in collaboration with Cerrucha as part of DISIDENTA: Comunidad de práctica social + saberes feministas
