ACTA TESTIMONIAL

For Acta testimonial (Testimonial Act), I was interested in contrasting two voices. The first, written on the walls of the room, were the insults that had been directed at users of the Diarq IAP shelter by their aggressors, in all cases their partners or husbands. The second voice, an audio recording, belonged to eight women violence survivors who had been housed at the shelter. These were their replies: the exact words they would have wanted to say to their aggressors, based on the right of reply established by the Mexican Constitution.
